Various Schoolworks

Over the past year or so, I've written several assignments for school that I believe are worthy of being shared here. This page is very much a work in progress; while some of my old assignments are quite easy to access, there are a few that need to be retyped (as well as revised due to problematic language I wasn't aware of at the time).

In general, my best works include mentions of at least one or two of the following: (institutionalized) racism; the patriarchy (rape culture counts towards this); and queer/trans rights.

Believe me when I say that I can tie the aforementioned into ANYTHING. Last year I had a reputation for bringing up racism and misogyny in every history lesson, despite them not being mentioned by the teacher most of the time. I am very proud of this fact and will attempt to continue this streak this year in civics (so far, so good: I was able to mention the Emergency Quota Act of 1921 and current racism in the immigration lesson and brought Ferguson into the separation of powers lesson. A discussion on 9/11 became a conversation about Islamophobia). Also, if you have ever used the phrase "race card" in a non-satirical fashion, you can leave this blog and never come back.

With that out of the way, here are some of my best works:

There'll be more coming soon! I have Twilight book report turned rant about abuse waiting to be retyped as well as a 7 page thesis on the AIDS epidemic and gay rights. Stay tuned!
